This video really helped me. Where i come from, nobody shuffles at all. I’ve been to 3 raves, did the shuffle and people love it; i get compliments on the floor, people want me to show basics etc.. This is amazing, considering i’ve always sucked at dancing..
Anyhow, i saw a crapload of different shuffle movies, and i just wanted to tell you that in my humble oppinion, your style is legendary!! Nate + Azmer + those bluescreen vids at youtube = my top3.

You all do it so fast,lol, im starting with the running man, do it slow, but when i try to move on the beat i get confused OR it looks like crap

i visit raves for a few years and i’m still doing.but i’ve never completed my style of dancing the shuffle.
i’ve seen a lot of styles during that time, some were awesome.

damn, i just figured out about this shit but have watched alittle and seen alittle of the moves and it looks hard as hell. but like everyone else says it takes practice. any more pointers for starters swing this way!

Thorough and you do it slowly at first and then show what its gonna look like when you nail it, draws the goal for you which REALLY helps.

Hey, nice tutorial. I’m getting better at the shuffling part (not so good at the kicks though, really unfit lol) but like most people it’s the running man that’s annoying me.
I’m trying to learn the hardstyle version atm and what I learnt from the tut is I have to get my leg quite high so I’ll try and work on that.
Also when I do the running man it looks like I’m dragging my back foot on the last step; is there anyway to make this look better :\?

i knew about shuffle just by coincidence lookin for smething else in youtube and i loved it. I’m trying to learn de basics right now, it looked more complicated than it is but it’s hard to follow the rythm.
just one suggestion, try to subtitle your videos, in english is ok, just for those ppl who find hard to understand spoken enlish

Great video, helped me grasp the basics, though I still suck haha. Hopefully within a month or so I can at least do a basic dance without making an ass out of myself. How long did it take for you guys to get it down? How long did you practice each day or every other day?

Hello guys

Hey there!
Just wanted to say that your moves are pretty nice! I try to learn that kinda stuff but it’s not that easy. Coming from Austria/Europa we don’t have these kind of shufflers here - only some kiddies trying to be cool and acting ’round like they where pro’s…;)
I don’t try to imitate the true shuffle style ’cause I’m a so called “Slider”, which is an oldschool form of raving here in Austria. Looks like sliding over ice without falling. *smile*
So I try to pick up some nice movements, like the Runningman to “update” my style.
Thank you very much for this awesome vid - I have to learn a lot but with your nice explanations this won’t be a problem.

If you wanna learn shuffle just stay devoted and practice i can say im crap but i learnt running man through practice if you guys stick at it to you can do, just dont expect to learn it overnight you may be talented you may not but you only learn by repitition and analysis, record yourself doing it and go hmm thats whats wrong correct it and try again analyse pro vids and see what there doing and you not

Thanks so much for the tutorial. I heard about the Melbourne Shuffle last month from a guy on Plurlife.com I’m a raver here in Southern California and I rave in Los Angeles but I live in San Diego. When he told me about the shuffle I looked it up and it’s the coolest dance ever. I can’t wait to learn and teach people here in California how to shuffle.

hey is it okay to add in Jumpstyle to Shuffling? cuz me n my buddy were considering fusing the two dances together and i was considering just adding in Tektonik for the arm movements and shuffling and jumpstyle as the feet movements

i’ve learned the shuffle but not the running man yet. the running man is hard to learn cause every time u do the running man u always have to slide and put ur foot down at the same time. im still practicing it. so keep up the good work shufflers
